He's been at it again. Here we find the intrepid David Walker at the helm once more, this time delivering something smart and shiny from over there to over here ... well, to Frogsville. Keen-eyed observers will note that 'supersec' Stuart Shields is aboard as C/Eng ... anything for a fiver ... although truebloods will be horrified to note the presence of dirt on his boiler suit. Perhaps it's curry.
The complacency and quiet confidence that emanates from our relaxed duo belies the truth of the situation. Earlier, whilst cleaning the bridge equipment ("Wot? How times have changed" - Ed.), the ship's master accidentally disengaged the gyro with his mop. Both he and the C/Eng noticed, in due course, that the teeny Swire house flag they had raised some days before was finally gathering a breath of wind, and starting to flutter. To add to the excitement, unexpected sunshine bathed the poop deck. Aha! An opportunity not to be missed for a photocall! The result is here.
It was only later, when Captain Walker returned to the bridge to recharge the glasses, that he noticed that the vessel was 180' off course and heading back towards Canada ...
