" SOFA, so good "

Bristol '99

Well, Bristol happened, and those of you who have forwarded the 1999 tenner will receive minutes in the mail.

Where's Stu? It's his round, surely, Shirley?
Thanks must go to the tireless but rarely beerless Stu Shields, whose unrelenting efforts assured that all those who turned up in Bristol had fun.
The dinner on one of Britain's finest vessels, Brunel's
"SS Great Britain", will be one to remember. If only the government would sort out the tonnage tax, maybe there'd be a few more on British ships .... (c'mon, Gordon ..)

I knew Stu did a bit of boating, but this is ridiculous

There's little hope of getting the "SS Great Britain" into Chester, but no doubt Stu will come up with something to entertain us. He grins like The Cheshire Cat, after all.

Watch this space for updates on Chester just as soon as the Web-brat figures out where it is. Wirral meet again?
